With Reference to subjet matter, we have done vendor rating
of all active suppliers having business transaction with PCL.
The vendor rating is used to analyze the vendor's performance
at the company level, taking into account their peformance

is to certify that M/s Advanced Instrumentation
& Measuring System - Chennai has installed a
Crank case Space Monitoring unit in our 18V32
Wartsila engines in December - 2002. Unit is working
well without any problem & giving indication in
digital mode for online status of inside crankcase of
the engine.
Based on above performance, we are looking for the installation
of same units for our other engines also.
We appreciate for their successful steps for designing
& developing so sople instrument for online monitorin
of changes in pressure, fumes etc inside the crankcase
during running of engine.

wartsila 18V 32 DG sets.

the crank case pressure,piston rings blow –
by and any abnormality in the crankspace as may occur
due to over heating of bearing,water leakages in to
sump etc.
The reliability of the instrument is excellent. This
has avoided major breakdown in the DG sets.
